Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support / Teaching Assistant to join our SEND school for children who have been excluded from a mainstream setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with school-aged children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and a passion for the progress of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) pupils.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with colleagues to provide tailored support and education to our students, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support SEMH pupils.
  • To provide individualized support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • To contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
