The Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work on the research project 'Singularities for Waves and Turbulent Flows (SWAT)'.


Job Summary


Applicants should have a strong research track record and a PhD in a relevant field. The role holder will be expected to plan and manage their own research and administration.


Key Responsibilities


Develop and conduct individual and collaborative research objectives, proposals, and projects. Assist in the preparation of proposals and applications to external bodies. Communicate technical material and build internal and external contacts.


Requirements


PhD in a relevant field, strong research track record, and previous postdoctoral experience may be an advantage.
