About the Role

Carmel Medical Practice is seeking a highly skilled Compliance/Performance Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our practice's technical, IT, and administrative functions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Capitation and QOF management, including running searches, maintaining registers, and sending out invitations
  • Targets and formulary management
  • Audit and data management, including disease groups and workload analysis
  • Appointment and repeat prescription analysis
  • Birth and death analysis, immunisations, and enhanced services management
  • IT troubleshooting, including SystmOne, Word, Excel, hardware, software, and NHSMail
  • CQRS and CQRS Local submissions, including minor surgery, enhanced access, DNA reports, and other monthly/quarterly/annual submissions
  • CQC and reporting management
  • Data entry, scanning, summarising, and smartcard portal management
  • Password management, including network login, SystmOne login, and NHSMail login
  • Website management and PPA submissions/reporting
  • Health and safety compliance, auditing, and other related tasks

Carmel Medical Practice is a purpose-built practice in the West End of Darlington, serving almost 11,500 patients. Our team consists of 4 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 4 Practice Nurses, and 3 Healthcare Assistants. We are a dynamic and supportive team, committed to providing high-quality patient care.

  • IT literate with knowledge of SystmOne
  • Data entry experience
  • Able to prioritise own workload and work under own initiative within boundaries of role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work in a changing environment and flexible approach to work
  • Committed to own CPD, with support from employer
  • Reliable, polite, and approachable
  • Awareness of own personal and professional limitations, and willing to seek advice where necessary
  • Highly motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, and a team player
