Position Overview

In light of our strategic growth and ongoing success, we are excited to announce an opening for qualified electrical compliance engineers to join our team, focusing on specific regional responsibilities. In this role, you will conduct electrical testing in commercial and small industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality electrical testing independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Adhere to BS7671 standards and internal performance benchmarks, ensuring compliance with electrical policies and procedures.
  • Uphold company Health and Safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in monthly Toolbox Talks and in-house training sessions as required.
  • Utilize our CRM system and reporting tools to accurately document electrical assessments.
  • Conduct electrical condition reporting, inspections, and testing to the highest standards.
  • Engage with clients and supply chain partners effectively.

Candidate Profile

To excel in the role of Electrical Compliance Engineer, you should possess:

  • A positive, inclusive attitude towards both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility in your work approach, with a willingness to work additional hours during peak periods.
  • A diligent and conscientious work ethic, taking pride in delivering exceptional service to our esteemed clientele.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience, including: NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation (C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • A valid driving license held for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Ideally, the 18th edition qualification; however, training for the 18th edition and asbestos awareness can be provided at our training center.
