Principal EMC Design Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Principal EMC Design Specialist. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing system mitigation to meet EMC standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility and experience working with complex systems. You will be expected to mentor and coach engineers within the team, as well as advise design teams on electromagnetic environment requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement system mitigation to meet EMC standards
- Advise design teams on electromagnetic environment requirements
- Mentor and coach engineers within the team
Requirements:
- BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification
- Professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this
- Experience of design for EMC compliance
- Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards would be an advantage
What We Offer:
You will receive a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave incentive, and access to additional perks such as flexible working and employee discounts.
