Job Overview
Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement (Enforcement) is a critical function of HMCTS responsible for the collection and enforcement of financial penalties imposed by the criminal courts. The team works diligently to ensure that offenders pay their fines, costs, victim surcharge, and compensation to victims of crime.

The role requires close collaboration with Enforcement Delivery Managers, Judiciary, Magistracy, Cluster Staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver HMCTS' responsibilities for the enforcement of Fines, Community Penalty Breach Warrants, and other enforcement work.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicate and work with various stakeholders to achieve enforcement objectives.
  • Pursue debt recovery through various means, including deducting money from an offender's earnings or benefits.
  • Cooperate with approved enforcement agents to seize and sell goods belonging to the offender.

Requirements
This position demands strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.

Compensation
The salary for this position is £11.59 per hour, rising to £11.88 after 12 weeks.
