We are seeking a skilled Heavy Maintenance Technician to join our team at the London and North Western Railway Company Limited. As a key member of our Heavy Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our rail vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance and overhaul of rail vehicles to laid down standards and procedures.
- Work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve product quality and efficiency.
- Perform electrical tasks, including installation and replacement of traction and rolling stock components.
- Operate rail vehicles as required, within depot operating limits, and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures.
- Experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a qualification in NVQ Level 3.
- Proven experience in rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities.
- Understanding of Depot Operations and working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
