About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fabricator to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating conventional and numerically controlled (CNC) equipment to produce high-quality landing gear pipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC equipment to perform production of landing gear pipes, including bending, swaging of hydraulic fittings, and pressure testing.
  • Load computer programs and input production equipment settings to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Run machine programs to perform operations and perform intermediate checks to ensure geometric tolerances and quality compliance.
  • Inspect finished products and identify any defects, and take part in adjustment or follow-up operations as needed.
  • Enter and save production data in the production management file and maintain the workstation, tools, and work area in good condition.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of pipe manufacture and assembly.
  • Knowledge of quality tools, such as 5S and Lean/6-Sigma.
  • Ability to follow and understand technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions.
  • Understanding of the risks related to Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
