About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with KS4 students who require additional support due to emotional and behavioural challenges. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping these students access mainstream education and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with behavioural difficulties and anxieties
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop individualized learning plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to students in a SEMH school or PRU/AP setting
  • Help students to develop social and emotional skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a SEN setting
  • Knowledge of SEMH and PRU/AP
  • Ability to work with students with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
