Job DescriptionSEND Teaching Assistant (PMLD) | South London
We are proud to be working alongside an independent school catering for children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, severe sensory impairment, and complex medical needs.
Our partner school takes a holistic and collaborative approach with their in-house teaching and learning, nursing, and therapy teams.
All pupils are wheelchair users, medically dependent, and require support with personal care. They have access to fantastic facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, onsite physiotherapists, and registered nurses.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with PMLD, including personal care and hydrotherapy
  • Develop good interpersonal and administration skills
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching and learning team
  • Participate in training and development opportunities
