Job Summary
East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Directorate of Quality Governance as the Head of Risk Management and Assurance.
Main Duties
The post holder will be responsible for leading and promoting effective risk management and assurance across the organisation, in line with the Risk Management Strategy.
The post holder will provide subject matter expertise, particularly in relation to risk, and leadership skills to develop and drive performance, working with Senior Leaders and governance leads to demonstrate compliance with policies, guidelines and standards.

We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, serving a local population of around 800,000 people. Our vision is 'great healthcare from great people'. We have a new way of working, called 'We care', which empowers frontline staff to lead improvements day-to-day.
