Reed.co.uk is seeking a visionary and results-driven Commercial Director to lead our Commercial teams and maximize revenue generation across our B2B customer base.

The Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious commercial strategy aligned to our strategic ambitions and goals. This includes maximizing revenue generation, representing the Commercial team's performance at senior level, and building, mentoring, and developing a best-in-class Commercial team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading sales teams to consistently achieve targets and grow a customer base, as well as personal experience of being customer-facing. They will also have expertise in creating and delivering multi-channel commercial strategies for digital market ecosystems and a strong data and analytical skills with the ability to communicate using insights.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing business strategy, driving commercial success, and fostering a high-performance culture across our Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an ambitious commercial strategy aligned to our strategic ambitions and goals.
  • Maximize revenue generation and represent the Commercial team's performance at senior level.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a best-in-class Commercial team.
  • Lead our Commercial teams to adopt a customer-centric approach, enhancing customer retention and accelerating acquisition.
  • Foster transparent and trusted relationships with all business functions, including Product and Marketing, ensuring company strategies align with Customer needs.
  • Utilize data to illustrate and explain business outcomes, trends, and forecasts.
