Sales and Dispatch Assistant Opportunity

An exciting role has arisen for a Sales and Dispatch Assistant in a full-time permanent position for a specialist manufacturing company located in the UK. The company's expertise is in humidity control and moisture protection systems.

The Offer

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break. Flexible start times available.

Starting salary up to £25,000 depending on experience. This is an entry-level position.

Paid overtime

Year-end bonus after one year's service

22 days' holiday plus bank holidays

Company pension (5% employee & 3% employer)

On-site parking

The Role

Daily picking of orders

Preparing dispatch paperwork

Monitoring online orders and correspondence

Booking couriers and arranging collections with clients

Monitoring emails and progress of orders

Completing weekly progress reports for unfilled orders

Becoming conversant with Government reporting systems, Intrastat

Delivering daily post internally

Updating digital records of all documents and scans

Assisting with sales order processing

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Computer skills and Microsoft Office
  • Eager and honest, happy to ask for more work or assist the team
