Strong skills in leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Main Duties of the Job

Day to day Hospital Operations
Delivery of patient care
Maintaining high standards of service across the site
Strategic planning
Accountable for the directorate budget and associated
Responsible for the Directorate's 5 year rolling capital planning process, ensuring capital assets are managed effectively.

Person Specification

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject
Evidence of ongoing Professional/Managerial Development
Managerial Qualification
Professional / Managerial development in relevant area to masters equivalent

Experience

Project management experience
Experience of implementing innovations and managing change within clinical environments - multi site
Substantial experience of operating effectively at a senior level within the organisation.
Experience of clinical audit and implementation of actions
Experience of multi professional working at a senior level / working effectively with other stakeholders
Substantial budget management service
Operational management experience

Aptitude and Abilities

The post holder will be highly skilled at communicating orally and in writing at all levels.
Ability to think laterally, prioritise effectively, analyse and solve complex problems.
A high level of people management/interpersonal skills is essential.
Proficient in conflict resolution
Skilled and experienced in successfully managing and achieving change
