Breakthrough Memoir Scholarship

Curtis Brown Creative is committed to promoting diversity in our student groups and finding talented writers who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend our courses. We are pleased to offer a Breakthrough Memoir Scholarship for memoir and narrative non-fiction writers with limited financial means.
The scholarship will award one talented writer with a place on our online Writing Memoir & Narrative Non-Fiction course. The course is designed to help writers turn their life experiences or true stories into compelling books, with expert teaching, workshops, and tutorials from award-winning author Wyl Menmuir.
EligibilityTo be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet our financial criteria, which includes having an annual income of less than £25,000 and personal savings of less than £5,000. We also welcome applications from writers who do not fit our financial criteria but are financially challenged.
Our application process is simple, and we encourage all writers meeting the eligibility criteria to apply. We will review all applications and select the most promising writer to receive the scholarship.
