Job Overview

Brakes is seeking a skilled EUC Support Engineer to join our Technology team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will provide technical support for end-user computing solutions, ensuring seamless service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide second-line technical support for end-users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure service levels are maintained, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Manage and close incidents and service requests using our helpdesk ticketing system, owning through to resolution.
  • Proactive replacement of end-of-life assets, including disposal or recycling of old devices.
  • Administer IT inductions for new starters, ensuring they have required hardware and software.
  • Manage mobile devices via MDM platforms and SIM card connections.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory of IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, printers, and network equipment.
  • Ensure changes are made in accordance with change management guidelines and policies.
  • Provide support to projects as required to deploy new technologies.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced EUC Support Engineer with a good working knowledge of IT security, infrastructure, and service standards. You will have technical knowledge of Microsoft products, including client operating systems, Teams, Office 365, and Azure. Experience with MDM platforms and networking is also essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach are required, along with a keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory data and documentation.
