Job Description

EUC Support Engineer

Brakes is seeking an experienced EUC Support Engineer to join our Technology team on a full-time, permanent basis. As an EUC Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line technical support for end-user technology throughout Sysco GB, promoting excellent customer service and dealing with colleagues in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner.

We are offering a hybrid working contract with 3 days per week in the Reading office. Flexibility will be required for travel around the Sysco offices, and travel expenses will be reimbursed. Please note that this role requires a driving license and your own transport.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support for end-users
  • Prioritize workload to ensure service levels are maintained
  • Manage and close incidents and service requests via the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Proactively replace end-of-life assets
  • Provide IT induction for new starters
  • Administer mobile devices via an MDM platform
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory of IT hardware
  • Ensure changes are made in accordance with change management guidelines and policies
  • Provide support to projects as required

About You:

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of maintaining IT security, infrastructure, and service standards, as well as technical knowledge of Microsoft products, including client Operating Systems (Windows 10 and 11), Teams, Office 365, and Azure. You will have experience administering MDM platforms, such as Endpoint Manager (Intune), and an understanding of networking (Wireless, LAN, and WAN). Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focus are essential, along with a keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory data and documentation. Experience supporting networked printers and proven troubleshooting skills for hardware and application support, as well as Active Directory/Azure AD understanding and administration experience, are highly advantageous.
