The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to develop, implement, and facilitate our recruitment and onboarding strategy. As a key member of our People Team, you will provide guidance and counsel to hiring managers to maintain a successful people-centric business. Your mission will be to ensure new team members seamlessly transition into their roles, providing a positive candidate experience for both internal and external candidates.

You will be responsible for designing and executing robust onboarding programs, beyond paperwork, to ensure our new team members embark on a smooth and positive journey into our organization. In partnership with #TeamSinewave, you will be setting the stage for their success and long-term growth within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop recruitment and onboarding processes to deliver KPIs.
  • Leverage systems and software to streamline recruitment and onboarding, encompassing employee record management, progress tracking, and task automation.
  • Implement and track key performance metrics related to attraction, recruitment, selection, and onboarding, such as time-to-hire, cost-to-hire, time-to-productivity, employee satisfaction, and retention rates, using data to drive improvements.
  • Manage our recruitment budget.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand and deliver on recruitment needs.
  • Coordinate all activities throughout the recruitment process, including managing our partner agencies.
  • SOURCE TOP TALENT using available tools and resources, including agencies when necessary.
  • Build, maintain, and promote Sinewave's talent pool.
  • Assist existing employees when they move to a new department or position.
  • Collect valuable feedback from both new hires and managers to continually enhance the onboarding process.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support to new employees during their initial months, addressing questions, concerns, and helping them acclimatize to the work environment.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to create personalized onboarding plans tailored to specific roles.
  • Develop hiring managers on interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Work in partnership with our marketing team to develop our employer brand.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of working in partnership with peers and key stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes on time and budget. You will also have experience in providing guidance and support to hiring managers for the end-to-end recruitment process, including role scope, advertising, and selection.

You will have a strong understanding of modern recruitment techniques, tools, and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media platforms. You will also have a track record of successfully designing and implementing impactful onboarding programs, both face-to-face and remote.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to facilitate positive relationships, particularly in supporting new hires integrate smoothly into their roles. You will also have the capacity to respond flexibly to evolving organizational needs and priorities.

You will be detail-oriented and able to maintain high levels of accuracy in documentation. You will have a strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, onboarding processes, and employment laws. You will also be proficient in HRIS and onboarding software/tools.

CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable, and you will have the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
