About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the HCPC, as well as recognized dysphagia competencies and expertise in Speech and Language therapy models and interventions related to ABI.
- They will be experienced in managing complex cases, particularly within an adult neurology setting, and possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with individuals and their social network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized management plans for clients with complex communication needs.
- Provide training and education to staff and service users on communication strategies and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
- Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
