**Role Description**

We are seeking a highly professional and inspirational Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to perform in a key leadership role within a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing speech and language therapy within a neurobehavioural model to individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise a caseload of individuals with complex mental and physical health needs and/or challenging behaviour.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to formulate appropriate rehabilitation goals, care plans, and communication and dysphagia therapy programmes.
  • Engage individuals in assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning, overcoming communication barriers and ensuring informed consent.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Extensive experience in hospital or residential settings, with specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI.
