About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician in Complex Neurological Rehabilitation to join our team at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre (FBIRC). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with acquired brain injury, anoxic brain injury, brain tumour, complex stroke, traumatic brain injury, inflammatory and infective conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Provide outstanding, outcome-based rehabilitation care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
- Team Collaboration: Lead the multidisciplinary team that undertakes assessments for admissions to the service within our partner acute hospital.
- Medical Governance: Attend family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as required.
- Research and Development: Participate in research, innovation, and local audit to improve patient outcomes and services.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Full registration with GMC with licence to practice, MRCP, CCT in Rehabilitation Medicine.
- Experience: Working within an inpatient rehabilitation setting treating those with neurological or brain injury.
- Skills: Evidence-based practice, patient-centred, outcomes-based care, confidence in engaging internal and external stakeholders.

- Competitive Salary: £190,000 plus £30k Welcome Bonus for the Medical Director position (salary would be £180k + £10k for Medical Director responsibilities).
