Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic and progressive multidisciplinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people who require mental health support.

Key Responsibilities
  • To undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments, developing effective risk management plans and providing brief interventions.
  • To work closely with colleagues from various departments to ensure seamless care and management plans.
  • To contribute to the development of the team's gateway and assessment role, ensuring effective interfacing between teams and agencies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Substantial post-registration experience working in acute mental health services.
  • Experience in working with children and young people, with knowledge of contemporary mental health practice.
  • Ability to identify and coordinate effective risk assessment and management, with knowledge of national legislation and guidance.
Salary and Career Opportunities

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will have opportunities for professional development and career progression within Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
