Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, women-centred midwifery care. This involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care. The role involves supporting other midwives within the service and contributing to the development of clinical excellence.

Main Duties

Clinical:

  • Plan and implement individualised midwifery care that is centred around the needs of pregnant individuals and their families.
  • Facilitate participation in decision-making, ensuring informed choice dialogue.
  • Ensure risk assessments and referrals are completed and documented.
  • Follow midwifery guidelines and liaise with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient care.
  • Ensure clinical records comply with Trust and regulatory requirements.
