Physicist in Medical Radiation Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Physicist to join our Medical Radiation Services team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Radiotherapy Physics, including treatment planning, dosimetry & QA, brachytherapy, computing and R&D.
The main role of this post is to provide support to the work of the Radiotherapy Physics section. The post holder will work over a range of areas in Radiotherapy Physics and will undergo training in Radiotherapy Physics and associated techniques.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Broad understanding of patient and staff risks arising from treatment planning computer system errors, equipment failure, treatment errors and incorrect dosimetry
- Broad knowledge of radiotherapy techniques and clinical applications
An estimated salary for this role is between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
