About the Role

Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a skilled Estates Officer (Fire) to join their team at Mansfield Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of electrical, mechanical, and related systems, as well as promoting compliance with statutory and good engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a reliable and responsive Estates care service.
  • Lead Authorized Person for Fire and Medical Gas systems.
  • Undertake package management and AP duties as identified within the Responsibility Matrix.
  • Prepare, implement, and control schemes of reactive and preventative planned maintenance to statutory and good engineering/industry practice.

Requirements

  • Medical Gas Authorized Person Qualification.
  • 18th Edition IEE Regs qualification.
  • Experience working in hospitals and on hospital infrastructure, particularly with regards to maintenance of high voltage systems and low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with Health Technical Memorandum (HTM's) and Health Building Notes (HBN's).
