Job Title: Clinical Scientist/Lead Clinical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to lead our Diagnostic Radiology Physics team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Medical Physics Expert (MPE) in Diagnostic Radiology to the Trust and its contracted customers.
  • Provide leadership within Non-Ionising Radiation Physics.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical and Radiation Physics team to deliver high-quality services across the SEND geographic area.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Medical Physics and leadership within Non-Ionising Radiation Physics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Full driving license and access to an appropriate vehicle for the carriage of test equipment.
