Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to lead our Diagnostic Radiology Physics team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a Medical Physics Expert (MPE) in Diagnostic Radiology to the Trust and its contracted customers. This will involve providing expert advice and guidance on radiation safety and quality assurance, as well as leading the Diagnostic Radiology Physics team to deliver high-quality services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a Medical Physics Expert (MPE) in Diagnostic Radiology to the Trust and its contracted customers.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on radiation safety and quality assurance.
  • Lead the Diagnostic Radiology Physics team to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work closely with the Clinical and Radiation Physics team to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
  • Develop and implement radiation safety and quality assurance policies and procedures.
