Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to lead our Diagnostic Radiology Physics team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust.

Main Duties of the Job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acting as a Medical Physics Expert in Diagnostic Radiology to the Trust and its contracted customers. You will also provide leadership within Non-Ionising Radiation Physics.

Job Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a Medical Physics Expert in Diagnostic Radiology to the Trust and its contracted customers
  • Providing leadership within Non-Ionising Radiation Physics
  • Working closely with the Clinical and Radiation Physics team to provide Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, and Radiation Safety Services across the South, East, and North Devon geographic area
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to NHS and non-NHS customers
