Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Aviation team at Edinburgh Airport, where you will play a critical role in maximising passenger numbers and growing market share within our region. You will be responsible for developing relations with corporate partners, local businesses, and airline sales teams in the UK, as well as planning and executing contact plans to increase awareness and perceptions of Edinburgh Airport and the route network among travel trade/corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Airline Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline sales teams in the UK to promote their products and enhance awareness of their proposition.
  2. Contact Planning: Plan and execute continued contact and communication plans to increase awareness and perceptions of Edinburgh Airport and the route network among travel trade/corporate customers.
  3. Airlines and Destinations: Understand, communicate, and promote Edinburgh's airlines, destinations, and connectivity to travel trade/corporate bookers.
Requirements
  • Strong IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication and Relationship Skills: Strong ability to communicate and build relationships with travel trade and corporate bookers, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Travel Industry Knowledge: Good working knowledge of the travel industry within Edinburgh and the wider catchment area.
