About the Role

As a Teacher of English, you will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering high-quality lessons using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • To monitor student progress, keeping accurate records of assessment outcomes and targets set at regular intervals in line with Academy policy.
  • To maintain and build upon the standards achieved in the award for QTS (Secondary) as set out by the Secretary of State.
  • To contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the Every Child Matters agenda and Area Child Protection Procedures.
  • To undertake any other duties deemed necessary by the Principal.

Estimated Salary: Approximately £38,500 per annum
