We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting teachers with lesson preparation, delivering learning activities and providing one-to-one assistance to children as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff and parents. They will also have a high level of emotional intelligence, patience and understanding, with the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Deliver learning activities and provide one-to-one assistance to children as needed
  • Build strong relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Manage challenging situations effectively

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in both Maths and English (GCSE C grade)
  • Level 2 qualification in early years education or working towards it
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence, patience and understanding
