Renal Unit Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renal Unit Leader to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro. This pivotal role requires a strong leader with excellent leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to respond quickly to challenges.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clinical care and haemodialysis treatment plans, identifying quality and patient safety risks, and mitigating these risks to prevent avoidable harm to patients. They will also participate in divisional risk management and ensure that confidentiality for patients and staff is maintained in all areas.
Main Responsibilities- Assess clinical care and haemodialysis treatment plans to identify quality and patient safety risks.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of providing high-standard autonomous professional and effective patient-centred care within this specialty. They should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:
- NMC Registration.
- Post-Registration Renal Course.
- Mentorship qualification.
- Clinically skilled in haemodialysis.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possesses organisational skills.
