As a key member of the College community, you will provide pastoral support to students, staff, and senior members, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide confidential support and guidance to students, staff, and senior members, addressing non-medical welfare-related concerns.
- Coordinate and oversee non-medical welfare-related activities, ensuring seamless integration with College resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with College staff, senior members, and external partners to enhance student wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the College Nurse and Mental Health Adviser to provide comprehensive support to students.
- Contribute to the development of College policies and procedures related to student wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- High emotional intelligence and empathy to build trust and rapport with students and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in pastoral support or a related field, with a strong understanding of student wellbeing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle complex pastoral situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing College needs.
