College Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Porter at a prestigious college in Central Cambridge. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming impression to all visitors to the college.
This is a full-time permanent role working on a shift basis of 4 on 4 off. You will work two day shifts (7:30am - 3:00pm) followed by two late shifts, providing a great balance of work and rest.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and support to visitors and staff
- Ensure the college premises are maintained to a high standard
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks
