This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to take on the role of Nurse Manager within the Portfolio of Medicine and Unscheduled Care in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. As a key member of the nursing leadership team, you will provide professional and operational leadership to the nursing teams, ensuring the highest standards of practice and safe, effective person-centered care.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and a passion for developing a first-class nursing service. You will work closely with the Portfolio leadership team, including the Pathway Managers, Chief Nurse, Clinical Directors, and service teams, to promote, develop, and manage designated teams to deliver high-quality care to local and national standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise and ensure the day-to-day operation of services
  • Develop and manage designated teams to facilitate the delivery of appropriate care to the patient population
  • Work closely with Senior Charge Nurses to deliver person-centered, quality care
  • Provide care assurance and the delivery of safe, quality nursing services

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • Substantial post-registration experience in a clinical/managerial setting
