About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Minstrell Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful planning, management, and delivery of projects within agreed budgets.

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure all projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively within agreed budgets.
  • Survey and scope site works
  • Quotations
  • Supplier management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Attend site meetings and undertake site inspections when required.
  • H&S Management
  • Primary point of contact for the customer for all matters related to the delivery of the works.
  • Produce RAMS and other H&S documentation as the company and its clients require, utilising the experience of engineering and H&S staff across the company.
  • Manage own and team workload to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.
  • Handing customers in a professional manner


Requirements


  • At least 2 years experience in a similar or related role within the mechanical engineering discipline, preferably in the water industry and a construction project environment.
  • Awareness of construction related regulations, e.g. CDM, LOLER, DSEAR, Confined Spaces etc.
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience in preparing RAMS.
  • Proven experience of dealing with customers in a professional manner.
  • Solution orientated problem-solving ability.
  • The willingness and ability to travel.
  • Full driving license.
