Railway Engineering Project Manager

Porterbrook Leasing Company Limited is seeking a skilled Railway Engineering Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering issues, lease requirements, and maintenance contracts for vehicle fleets within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review National Incident Reports and coordinate remedial actions as necessary.
- Manage maintenance specifications to ensure no undue risk is imported onto the running railway.
- Record vehicle modifications and follow the required engineering change process.
Project Delivery:
- Ensure projects are managed to deliver time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Undertake regular project reviews to monitor overall project performance and provide forecasts on costs vs budget.
- Share information relevant to projects within the business in a timely manner.
Ongoing Fleet Maintenance:
- Monitor fleet performance to identify areas of poor reliability.
- Assist in producing a business case and implementation plan for proposed vehicle modifications.
Requirements:
- Railway engineering knowledge, ideally possessing or working towards Chartered Status.
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
