Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Bimetal Bonding. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for process monitoring and delivering technical support required to ensure the efficient operation of Bimetal Bonding and Inspection processes.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Monitoring and measurement of processes in order to identify positive or negative trends; and best practice.
- Ensuring production practice follows existing process controls.
- Management of small to medium scale projects (process development / equipment upgrades)
- Verification and validation of process change.
- Ownership of Standard Operating Procedures and Production Control Plans.
- Preparation of technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical graduate with 2 years experience in Process Engineering.
- Experience in Cold Roll Bonding is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Inventor / Solidworks 3D CAD software or equivalent.
- Broad knowledge of various methods of processing strip materials such as rolling, annealing, machining etc.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Able to support the Engineering, Maintenance & Production teams where appropriate.
