Job Description

The role of a Senior Training Development Manager is to identify business needs and develop training plans to drive safety and performance across regions.

About the Role
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with route and central functions to secure accurate training demand aligned to customer targets and objectives.
  • Uncover future enhancement initiatives requiring workforce development through training interventions to facilitate resource planning and optimal scheduling.
  • Triage and resolve issues relating to Public Relations for Network Rail Training across the organisation to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Develop the training delivery plan for central projects to meet customer requirements while maximising resource utilisation.
  • Act as the primary customer interface for customer training demand, working with the centralised planning team on performance improvement initiatives and impact measurements.
  • Deliver optimal facility and resource utilisation through effective monitoring and reporting of demand and efficient planning and forecasting.
  • Maintain effective relationships within Network Rail Training, ensuring maximum utilisation of training places.
  • Develop reporting and communication strategies to deliver business intelligence to the Route.
  • Contribute to the Network Training business planning process to secure relevant budget for customer-defined activities.
  • Provide support to the Head of Regional Training for customer development activity at Functional Director and Route Managing Director level.

Benefits

This role comes with an estimated salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
