Job Title: Economics Senior Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Economics Senior Analyst to join our team at Consult. As a key member of our Health Economics department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing market access strategies for our products in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of National Market Access Plans for allocated products, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of product value to national payers.
  • Recommend optimal HTA strategies and lead all aspects of the HTA process for allocated products in UK/Ireland, a business-critical process for achieving market access.
  • Contribute to cross-functional Franchise teams, providing expertise on Market Access and ensuring it is integral to brand strategy and tactics.
  • Produce high-quality materials that effectively communicate product value to national payers, leveraging in-depth technical knowledge of HE modelling and value communication.
  • Commission and manage large projects with third-party vendors and internal/external stakeholders, fostering in-house development and training of other health economists.

Requirements

  • MSc in Health Economics or equivalent discipline.
  • Ability to work at a strategic level within cross-functional teams.
  • Good working knowledge and practical experience of:
    • All methods of economic evaluation.
    • HTA bodies, including NICE and the SMC.
    • UK and Ireland market access barriers.
    • Development of payer materials to support market access.
    • Training cross-functional teams.
