**Job Title:** Senior Health Economist - Market Access Strategist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Economist to lead our Market Access efforts in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to demonstrate the value of our products to national payers, ensuring timely market access.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Refine Market Access Plans: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and refine UK/Ireland National Market Access Plans for our products.
  • Lead HTA Strategy and Process: Recommend the optimal HTA strategy and lead all aspects of the HTA process for allocated products in UK/Ireland, a critical process for achieving market access.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Take a prominent role in cross-functional Franchise teams and be a recognized authority, ensuring Market Access is integral to brand strategy and tactics.
  • Value Communication and Materials: Proactively produce and disseminate high-quality materials that communicate the value of our products to national payers, ensuring Market Access input during early-stage product development and assessment.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of HE modeling and value communication & implementation using various channels.
  • Centre of Excellence Behaviours: Provide leading input to, and adaptation of (where appropriate), Corporate HEOR materials, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and relevant to the UK/Ireland setting and the ABPI code of practice.
  • Project Management: Commission and manage large projects with third-party vendors and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Foster the in-house development and training of other health economists.
Requirements:
  • Education: At least MSc in Health Economics or equivalent discipline.
  • Experience: Able to work at a strategic level within cross-functional teams.
  • Skills: Good working knowledge and practical experience of all methods of economic evaluation, the requirements and processes of HTA bodies, including NICE and the SMC, UK and Ireland market access barriers, development of payer materials, and training cross-functional teams.
