ROLE PROFILE

At Consult, we are seeking a highly skilled Health Economics Lead to join our team and play a critical role in demonstrating and communicating the value of our allocated product portfolio to national payers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in Health Economics to drive market access and remove barriers to market access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and refine UK/Ireland National Market Access Plans for products in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Recommend optimal HTA strategy and lead all aspects of the HTA process for allocated products in UK/Ireland
  • Contribute to cross-functional Franchise teams and provide expert guidance on Market Access
  • Produce high-quality materials that communicate the value of products to national payers
  • Ensure compliance with ABPI and IPHA codes of practice and SOPs
  • Deliver horizon scanning information on pipeline products and provide Market Access input during early stage product development and assessment
  • Develop and implement HE modelling and value communication strategies using various channels
  • Commission and manage large projects with third-party vendors and internal/external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • MSc in Health Economics or equivalent discipline
  • Ability to work at a strategic level within cross-functional teams
  • Good working knowledge and practical experience of

o all methods of economic evaluation

o HTA bodies including NICE and the SMC

o UK and Ireland market access barriers

o development of payer materials

o training cross-functional teams
