Job Title: Business Development Intern

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Intern to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a Business Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in procurement, digitalization, and sustainability.

In this role, you will support the Procurement team in key activities, working alongside team members to develop your skills and contribute to team goals. You will work with the Strategic Procurement Team, Commodity Managers, and Procurement Engineers in various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in procurement practices.

You will also contribute to a digitalization project, helping to enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization. Additionally, you will participate in sustainability initiatives within the Procurement team, learning how to incorporate sustainable practices in procurement.

Requirements:
  1. You will be an undergraduate student currently studying towards a bachelor's degree, looking to complete a 12-month industrial placement or sandwich year as part of your degree.
  2. You should be interested in digitalization and sustainability and keen to explore their impact on procurement.
  3. You will have good IT skills (proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel minimum) along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Please note that you must have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
