Global Talent 2020 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join their team at a prestigious restaurant in the heart of the city. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, menu development, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the high standard of food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement new menu concepts and ideas
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results
  • Ensure adherence to company brand standards, health and safety regulations, and COSHH/RIDDOR guidelines
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to develop and implement new food concepts and menus
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to junior team members
  • Contribute to the development of the company's reputation as an Employer of Choice

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant environment
  • Strong culinary skills, including menu development, food innovation, and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, COSHH, and RIDDOR
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control
