Care Assessment and Education Professional

Join us in our search for a highly skilled professional to work on Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 4 or Level 5.

Job Description:

  • Job Title: Care Assessment and Education Professional (Assessor or PTLLS qualified)
  • Location: Home/Field based, covering the West Midlands
  • Estimated Salary: £32,500 - £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

About the Role:

  1. We seek a qualified Assessor with teaching expertise to assess and support learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 4 or Level 5.
  2. The ideal candidate will have strong competencies as Deputy Manager level or above in a Residential Childcare setting, along with relevant qualifications such as Assessor awards (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA) and teaching qualifications at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  3. Responsibilities include supporting learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2, managing diaries efficiently, conducting online video meetings, and organizing documentation on learner progress.

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA.
  • Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  • Ideal experience delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare at Level 4 or Level 5.
  • Strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above in Residential Childcare.
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
  • Full, clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
