We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Apprentice Instructor to join our team at Tata Steel. As a Mechanical Apprentice Instructor, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of talent in the steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-impact learning events to apprentices in mechanical workshop machines.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training approaches are efficient and effective.
  • Provide support and guidance to learners, ensuring a positive learner experience.
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress, ensuring transfer of learning with optimum return on training investment.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environment standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of machine workshop experience (lathe/miller).
  • Completion of a time-served apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience operating and training individuals on mechanical workshop machines.
  • Educated to HNC/HND level.
  • Plant knowledge.
  • A good understanding of the education system.
