We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Apprentice Instructor to join our team at Tata Steel UK. As a Mechanical Apprentice Instructor, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of talent in the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-impact learning events for mechanical apprentices.
- Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training approaches meet business needs and national qualification requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to learners, ensuring a positive learning experience.
- Maintain knowledge of safety, health, and environment standards, ensuring compliance with Tata Steel and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of machine workshop experience (lathe/miller).
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship.
- Previous experience operating and training individuals on mechanical workshop machines.
- Educated to HNC/HND level.
- Plant knowledge.
- A good understanding of the education system.
