We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Instructor to join our team at Tata Steel UK. As a Mechanical Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our apprentices and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs for mechanical apprentices
- Assess and evaluate learner progress
- Develop and maintain training materials and resources
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training meets business needs
- Contribute to the development of the Apprentice Training Academy
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of machine workshop experience
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship
- Previous experience operating and training individuals on mechanical workshop machines
- Educated to HNC/HND level
- Plant knowledge
- A good understanding of the education system
