HR Assistant Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company in Huddersfield is seeking an HR Assistant to provide administrative support to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide payroll, recruitment, and general administration support within the HR Department.
  • Be the first point of contact for HR payroll and admin queries, including probationary, promotion, and termination letters.
  • Coordinate eye care vouchers and collate and input all payroll data and paperwork.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to the payroll bureau and check data provided by the payroll bureau for final payroll sign off.
  • Liaise with a payroll bureau as necessary.
  • Support recruitment activities, including advertising, processing applications, administration, issue of job offers and contracts, medicals, and induction packs.
  • Manage the HR Inbox for recruitment-related activities and respond in a timely manner.
  • Arrange medical and medical reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working in an HR/payroll/administrative role.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • High level of accuracy and strong data entry skills.
