HR Assistant - A Key Role in Our Huddersfield Team

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our team in Huddersfield. As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the wider HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide payroll, recruitment, and general administration support within the HR Department.
  • Be the first point of contact for HR payroll and admin queries, including probationary, promotion, and termination letters.
  • Coordinate eye care vouchers and collate and input all payroll data and paperwork.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to the payroll bureau and check data provided by the payroll bureau for final payroll sign off.
  • Liaise with a payroll bureau as necessary.
  • Liaise with recruiting managers to provide an effective and efficient recruitment service, including advertising, processing of applications, administration, issue of job offers and contracts, medicals, and induction packs.
  • Manage the HR Inbox for recruitment-related activities and respond in a timely manner.
  • Arrange medical and medical reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in an HR/payroll/administrative role.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • High level of accuracy and strong data entry skills.
